You can use your own photos, or download some from the Personalization Gallery. To learn more about personalizing your phone, see Personalize your phone and Get started with themes.

If you want to use a picture from the Personalization Gallery on Start or your lock screen, you need to download our lock screen tools. Go to the Personalization Gallery and tap or click Desktop backgrounds. Once you find the desktop background you want, tap or click the picture.

To change your desktop background Set our tools lock screen, switch the phone photo albums photograph as wallpaper or use our picture as wallpaper, to change your desktop background.

Make sure you’re saving the photo in your Pictures library and tap or click Set up wallpaper. Then follow the steps to see the picture on the desktop, Start, or the lock screen.
